The 2020 Taste of Derby Festival presented by Brown-Forman has been postponed.
In accordance with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control regarding the spread of COVID-19, we have postponed the 2020 Taste of Derby Festival. This allows us to prioritize the health and safety of our community, volunteers, and staff, while Dare to Care focuses resources on getting food to the children, families, and seniors who need us now more than ever.
We appreciate your understanding. We will coordinate with the Kentucky Derby Festival, the restaurant / beverage providers, and the many vendors needed for a successful event, to work on a new date for this event.
Dare to Care is thrilled to bring you the Taste of Derby Festival -Louisville’s favorite restaurant tasting event. The event includes delicious and generous samples from over 60 celebrated local restaurants, bourbon distilleries, beverage companies, and even opportunities to walk away with your favorite spirits with our bourbon and wine pull. Last year, this event raised $100,000 for Dare to Care. These funds benefited thousands of individuals and families in our community that are at risk of hunger on a daily basis.
Taste of Derby Festival is held at Louisville Slugger Field. Approximately 1,000 people attended this event last year making it one of the most popular Derby Festival events.
