Elaine Banter

What are you most excited about as the Director of Volunteer Engagement
I am so excited to connect with our volunteers! I am so grateful to be in a role where I get to be creative while connecting folks in the community with experiences that allow us to effectively serve our neighbors in need.
Why is now such an exciting time to volunteer with us?
As we navigate our “new normal” we are getting creative with the volunteer projects that we have available, and it’s super exciting! We are so grateful for the flexibility of our volunteers, along with their feedback and new ideas.
What keeps you inspired to keep doing your job through challenging times?
It is so inspiring to hear the stories of our volunteers and the connections they have to our mission. I am grateful to be a part of this amazing team!
What would you like people to know about our volunteers?
Our volunteers are dedicated, passionate, and super fun to be around. They bring such great energy with them each time they walk in the door, and it is evident they are truly grateful for the opportunity to fight food insecurity in our community.
