Federally, Pass A Strong Farm Bill

Protect programs including the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). TEFAP is one of the most vital resources in this fight. It moves food from American farms to food banks like Dare to Care supplying more than 25% of our total distribution This food is a lifeline for families, seniors, and rural communities where hunger often strikes hardest.

Locally, Maintain SNAP Benefits in our Community

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps low-income people buy food for healthy meals at participating stores. Kentucky and Indiana SNAP benefits increase household food buying power when added to the household's income. SNAP helps over 225,000 children and reduced food insecurity by roughly 30%. SNAP feeds 9 meals for every 1 provided by a food bank.
