1. Must have a minimum of 20 Participants in-order-to receive meal service.
2. Must serve 85% of Meals received each day.
3. The Site must have adequate insurance coverage and provide proof of coverage.
4. Be able to serve a meal at least one (1) day a week for a minimum of 30 minutes.
5. The Site Supervisor or Secondary Site Supervisor must stay on Site for the entire meal service.
6. Must be available on Serve Day to receive the meal delivery and sign the delivery ticket.
7. Must have access to an internet connection.
8. Have adequate staff/volunteers that can help serve meals, manage attendance, and all reporting.
9. Must participate in Food Safety Training and adhere to the requirements.
10. Must keep track of temperatures in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
11. All staff and volunteers must attend Civil Rights Training.
12. Must adhere to Sun Meal rules and regulations handed down by the federal and state government.
13. Must have storage capacity to hold dry and refrigerated inventory.
14. Must submit the daily reports online at least weekly and no later than Friday at 11:59pm.
15. Must provide at least one (1) educational or enrichment activity on meal serve days.
16. Must ensure children eat onsite. Food may not leave the Site.
17. The Site must be located in an area where at least 50% of children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals based on local school attendance data, ensuring the program serves communities with the highest need for food assistance.
18. Must be willing to open the Meal Service to the community.
