In 2018, Dare to Care began offering a School Pantry program to elementary, middle and high schools in Kentuckiana.
Through this approach, students and their families can visit a food pantry at participating schools to receive grocery items to take home. Examples of food items available in school pantries include fresh fruits and vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, beans, tuna, cereal, canned vegetables and soups.
