Re: Product Removal Information – Meijer Hydrocolloid Seal Adhesive Bandages

 

For your information and action, all lots of Meijer Hydrocolloid Seal Adhesive Bandages have been removed from Meijer shelves and are no longer available for sale due to: the potential for the sterility of the device to be compromised. Patients may be at risk for infection if a non-sterile product is used, as the product is intended to be sterile. Immunocompromised patients may be at increased risk for experiencing an infection. There have been no reports received of illness or injury due to this issue.
