Prepared meals providing hope for our community

Dare to Care’s community kitchen is a bustling hub where hot meals are prepared and delivered to children’s cafes and after-school programs, including the Boys and Girls Club and YMCAs. The kitchen also crafts frozen meals for our Seniors through the Silver Suppers program and our innovative initiatives. Additionally, it prepares nutritious options for our Prescriptive Pantry program. Throughout the school year, the kitchen produces an impressive average of 2,500 meals daily, ramping up to 5,000 meals each day during the summer. None of this would be possible without the generous support of our incredible volunteers and donors.

A special thank you to Lift a Life, Novak Family Foundation, Louisville Metro Government, and James Graham Brown Foundation for making this kitchen possible.
