Corporate Involvement

Companies championing a hunger-free Kentuckiana

Corporate partners are some of Dare to Care Food Bank’s strongest supporters in our work to addressing hunger. Our corporate partners offer critical donations and volunteer hours each year.

Partnering with Dare to Care positions your company as a leader in the fight against hunger and links your business to one of the community’s most reputable and well-respected charities. It’s also a great way to rally employees around a cause everyone can get behind.

Below are ways your team can get involved today!

Unrestricted Support

Committing to annual support is the best way you can help your community. This unrestricted donation allows Dare to Care leadership the flexibility to use your dollars where they are needed most. Donations can be made online here (link) or by mail,  P.O. Box 35458, Louisville, KY 40232

Event Sponsorships

Sponsoring Dare to Care’s major events is a terrific opportunity for branding and exposure, as well as a unique employee engagement tool while also making an impact in the lives of families struggling with hunger. Sponsorship opportunities include annual events including Taste of Derby Festival and Hunger Action Month. Visit our events page to learn more about all event opportunities.

Program Sponsorships

Your company can provide targeted support for one or more of Dare to Care’s programs.  Programs include School Pantry, Kids Cafe, Cooking Matters, Mobile Pantry, Prescriptive Pantry and others.  By supporting our programs, your business will receive positive exposure and have a significant and tangible impact on the community. For more information, contact Andrea Shepherd at andrea.shepherd@daretocare.org

Corporate Volunteering

We have a number of opportunities for corporate volunteer groups. It’s a great way to build team spirit and saves Dare to Care time and money that can be spent on distributing more food. For more information, visit our volunteer page.

Employee Giving / Matches

If your company has an employee giving campaign, it may be possible to designate Dare to Care specifically. Or you can have an independent Fund Drive all year-long or for a specific time frame. Please encourage your colleagues to consider supporting Dare to Care. And don’t forget about a company/corporate match, if that is available. Matching gifts are a wonderful way for the employee and organization to fight hunger together.

Learn and Advocate
