Dear Partners:
THIS IS NOT A RECALL! Conagra shared that there may have been some mislabeling on two of their canned products. Everything is safe to distribute, but please let your neighbors know of this mix-up they might encounter. Post this information on a bulletin board and/or on your social media.
Conagra Brands recently made some Chef Boyardee® Spaghetti & Meatballs product that was shipped to a few customers, including Walmart retail stores, for sale. Shortly after shipping the product, Conagra determined that a small amount of the product labeled as Chef Boyardee® Spaghetti & Meatballs instead contains Chef Boyardee® Mini Ravioli® Beef Ravioli product inside the can. There is nothing wrong with either of the products and both are safe to eat. For people with food allergies, Chef Boyardee® Spaghetti & Meatballs and Chef Boyardee® Mini Ravioli® Beef Ravioli both have the same labeled allergens, which are MILK, SOY, and WHEAT. Nonetheless, we asked our customers who received the impacted product to remove this inventory from their stores, and provided them with the option to donate the product to a local Feeding America food bank since it does not present a food safety risk.
If you have any questions about this product, please reach out to Conagra Brands’ Consumer Care team at (800) 544-5680 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday or at Consumer.Care@conagra.com.
